Partnership with Parents

In order to make the transition from home to nursery an enjoyable and stimulating experience, our communication with you is paramount.

You are welcome to visit your child at any time during the day and our staff will be pleased to answer any questions. In addition we will invite you to open evenings. You will receive information on your child's projects and quarterly newsletters so that you can continue the fun at home.  Observations of your child's development are continuously recorded.  These are available for you to view at anytime.

At Friends Forest School we know all about taking advantage of the learning opportunities the great outdoors can offer. We are the first Nursery Forest School in Surrey, thanks to getting agreement from local landowners and training with the Wildlife Trust. The philosophy behind Forest Schools is to encourage and inspire individuals of any age through positive outdoor experiences.

There are key elements that make Forest Schools different to simply going outdoors.
