Baby and Toddler Room
All babies need comfort and love with stimulating surroundings. Our key carer system promotes a calm and caring atmosphere, liaising with you closely so that life at the nursery closely follows your routines at home. We aim to provide a multi-sensory environment developing your child through touch, sight, smell, taste and movement.
As your child becomes a toddler they gain confidence, therefore, planned activities allow exploration of their new-found mobility, speech and dexterity skills. We guide your child positively to learn right from wrong. Music, song, rhyme, imaginative and messy play, movement and stories all contribute to happy and confident individuals - equipped for the next stage of their development.
In Pre-school
Children develop best through first hand experience. With careful observation, suitable challenges are planned that will lead to a high degree of motivation and success. Throughout the nursery your child will enjoy a breadth of activities in line with the national curriculum. We have a child centred approach to build on what your child already knows and can do.
We encourage purposeful play, independent learning and self- discipline using some Montessori equipment. Art, music, science and technology, early literacy and numerical activities are a part of our daily routine. Providing opportunities to develop their language, reasoning, creative and imagination skills.
We provide opportunities to gain body control and dexterity with an awareness of health and care through our daily hygiene routines. Children will learn in an environment where their achievements are highly valued. Your child will have access to a computer from the age of three.
Out in the Open A

Our main garden has been re-designed to allow your child to get plenty of fresh air all year round. We have an assault course to extend balance and climbing skills all with EU/British Standards approval and rubberised Tumblegrass. There is an area for riding bikes and team games plus use of the extensive school grounds for daily nature walks. There is always a trained first-aider on hand.
